A collection · for the anxious heart
Anxiety rarely knocks first — it just moves in. The mind starts rehearsing tomorrow, the chest tightens, and the day feels heavier than it should. If that is where you are, you are not weak and you are not alone. Scripture never scolds the anxious; it invites them. "Cast all your anxiety on him, because he cares for you" (1 Peter 5:7) — not bury it, not manage it, but hand it over to a Father who is actually paying attention. And Paul does not promise the worry will vanish; he promises something better: "the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:7). These devotionals are gathered for the days when fear feels louder than faith. Read one slowly. Let one verse, prayed out loud, do its quiet work. Then take the next small step — and let Him hold the rest.
